Investment Accountant | Funds Management

Our client is a highly regarded investment management business seeking an Investment Accountant to join their Brisbane team.

This is a broad chance offering exposure across financial reporting, tax, treasury, transactions and complex investment structures. Working closely with both finance and investment specialists, you'll gain insight into how investments are assessed, structured and managed, rather than simply reporting on the outcome.

The Role

Key responsibilities include
Ownership of a portfolio of investment entities
Financial reporting and compliance obligations
Financial statements and tax reporting
Capital calls, distributions and treasury activities
Drawdowns and repayments
Exposure to acquisitions and transaction-related matters
Review of legal and transaction documentation
Liaising with auditors and external advisers
Supporting structuring initiatives and process improvements

About You This opportunity could suit an experienced Fund or Investment Accountant looking for broader exposure,



or a CA/CPA-qualified accountant seeking to leverage strong technical accounting and tax capabilities within an investment environment.

You will likely bring
CA or CPA qualification
Strong technical accounting and/or tax capability
Experience working with trusts, companies or complex structures
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
