About the role

Opportunity for development and growth working with a large Australia and Current Zealand based organisation and a range of external legal providers. The successful candidate will have a broad-based generalist role working within a small in-house legal team.

Key responsibilities
Lease review, negotiation and management
Contract review, negotiating and drafting
General commercial law support
Litigation management
Provision of legal advice on wide ranging issues
External provider management
Conduct legal research
Support due diligence processes for acquisitions
Manage calendaring and deadline tracking for lease-related matters
Handle general office administration and support tasks

About you
Australian Citizen or permitted to work in Australia
Qualified lawyer with admission to practice in Australia with a current practising certificate
Minimum 3 years+ PQE from a well-regarded law firm or in-house corporate environment
Effective communicator and ability to handle a diverse mix of work in a quick-paced setting
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills




Commercial mindset with ability to flexibly deliver pragmatic solutions
