Our client is a national firm whose construction team advises principals, contractors, subcontractors and major consultants on significant construction and development projects. A permanent prospect has opened for a Senior Construction Lawyer with 6+ years' PAE to join the Sydney team, working across both front-end advisory and back-end disputes.

About the role

You will advise from project set-up through to dispute resolution, so you see a matter through its full life. You will:




Draft and negotiate construction, procurement and development contracts
Advise on project delivery, variations, delay and risk allocation
Manage construction disputes from first advice through to resolution
Guide and mentor junior lawyers

What you'll bring
6+ years' PAE with construction experience across advisory and disputes
Admission to practise in Australia and a current practising certificate
Solid drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
Commercial judgement and the ability to lead a team

Additional information
$170K - $210K + super, set by experience
