About the role

This role entails a hands-on approach to formwork carpentry on civil construction projects. The successful applicant must be reliable, self-motivated and able to problem-solve. The right candidate must be willing to travel, as jobs are in both metropolitan and regional areas.

Key responsibilities
Forming up stairs, radius formwork and Class 1 finishing work
Reading and interpreting plans on site
Working in a team setting
Adhering to all site safety requirements
Meeting deadlines and working under pressure

About you
Two years' experience working as a formwork carpenter on civil projects
Current White Card and trade-qualified or relevant industry experience
Valid driver's licence
Own tools
Ability to read plans
Carpentry skills for forming up stairs, radius formwork and Class 1 finishing work
Punctual and able to work in a team setting
Ability to provide references and show examples of previous work
Robust commitment to safety and work health and safety (WHS)
