A leading global law firm is looking for a Senior M&A; lawyer (5+yrs PQE) to join its Digital practice — an chance to take your transactional experience into a role focused on complex problem solving, clients, AI and recent technology.

Think sophisticated legal work, with a more solution-focused and innovative approach.

Around 80% of the role is focused on complex problem solving and special projects, working directly with clients to find smarter ways to approach legal and transactional challenges. You’ll use your M&A; expertise alongside AI and emerging technology to develop solutions, improve processes and rethink how legal work can be delivered.

The work is wide-ranging and there isn’t always an established precedent or playbook — making this an opportunity for someone who enjoys critical thinking,



creative problem solving and working out how things can be done differently.

This opportunity will suit a M&A; Senior Associate who enjoys the technical and commercial side of transactions, but is increasingly interested in AI, technology and the future of legal services — and is looking for greater variety, client exposure and scope to apply their expertise in a different way.

It could also be a particularly interesting step for someone considering an eventual move in-house, given the exposure to clients, stakeholders, project management and commercial problem solving.
