Established in 1977, AEM has been providing clients with products and services related to electric motors, pumps and generators for over 49 years.

AEM is currently looking to fill the following position;
Fitter & Turner

The ideal candidate will possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and characteristics:
Must have machining experience, using manual lathe & milling machine etc (essential)
Must have mechanical fitting experience (essential)
High risk license – forklift (preferred, or willing to obtain one)
Proven problem solving & fault-finding skills
Team player with robust interpersonal skills
Ability to follow company procedures & policies and comply with Quality Assurance &WHS; requirements at all times
Trade qualification preferred but not essential

Duties will include, but not only limited to:
Disassemble, assess, and reassemble all sorts of electric motors, pumps, generators and gearboxes




Test and repair in accordance with AEM Standards and Procedures
Machining of parts/components as required
Complete all necessary paperwork associated with the job in a thorough and legible manner
Be available for overtime when required
Undertake ongoing training as required
Work in accordance with company’s WHS and Quality system
Complete and submit weekly KPI reports

Selected candidate may be subjected to medical assessment prior to the start of employment. Random drug & alcohol screening will also be carried out.
