About Us

Fern Bay Motel are currently seeking casual Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping teams. Our motels caters to a wide range of guests. Hours vary but on an average 15 hours per week, with the potential to gain more hours

Task & Responsibilities
Cleaning of guests rooms as per schedule
Cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and floors
Vacuuming of rooms
Making beds to the required standard
Dusting and cleaning of furniture and mirrors
Ensure all rooms are fully stocked with guest amenities
Use appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes
Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly
Disposal of all waste
Report any maintenance required

Qualifications & Experience
Cleaning experience is preferable but not essential
A positive eye for detail, be self-motivated and be able to work in a team, as well as working on your own
Must be friendly,



with great customer service and communication skills
Flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster - shifts between 9am - 2pm. Yes we pay penalty rates.

About You

We are seeking someone who has a can-do attitude, outstanding communication and customer service skills. We require someone who has outstanding attention to detail and able to retain our high standards in a busy and physically demanding position. Prior cleaning experience is preferable but not essential, as training will be provided.
