OCRT is a sovereign, veteran-owned Australian consultancy delivering skilled services across Defence, Government, and national security. We are putting together a team to support a critical infrastructure risk and security uplift chance for a major renewable energy transmission network in NSW, and are seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Specialist to line up for delivery.

The role:

You’ll help build and assess a Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP) under the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018, covering material risk assessment, and one or more of cyber, personnel, supply chain, or physical/natural hazard risk domains, through to board-ready compliance outcomes. 6 month contract, with possibility of extension.

What we’re looking for:
Experience conducting material risk assessments and building risk registers against a formal risk framework




Familiarity with the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 and CIRMP Rules (or equivalent regulatory frameworks) — direct SOCI Act experience highly regarded
Background in one or more of: cyber and information security, personnel security, supply chain risk, or physical security/natural hazard management
Experience producing evidence-based compliance documentation and gap assessments
Comfortable engaging both technical stakeholders and executive/board audiences
Based in or willing to be embedded in Sydney for the engagement duration

Nice to have:
Exposure to the Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF)
Experience in energy, utilities, or other critical infrastructure sectors
Familiarity with design conformance reviews or OT/IT boundary architecture
