We are looking for an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team in Orange, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified technician who enjoys working on a wide range of underground and surface mining equipment, support equipment and heavy-duty machinery. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing equipment both in the workshop and at customer sites. The role will involve working on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and diesel systems across a variety of mining equipment.

Key responsibilities
Service, maintain, fault-find and repair equipment both in the workshop and at customer sites
Work on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and diesel systems across mining equipment
Travel to customer sites and work underground and on surface operations

About you
Trade qualification as a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Mobile Plant Technician or similar
Experience working on mining, heavy mobile or industrial equipment is highly desirable
Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
The ability to read and understand hydraulic, electrical and mechanical drawings
A strong commitment to safety and quality
