This is a field-based B2B sales and business development role focused on generating recent business, developing customer relationships and increasing sales. You will identify prospective customers, understand their requirements, present suitable product and supply solutions, and convert opportunities into ongoing accounts. The role will involve working with business owners, buyers and other key decision-makers, with opportunities across the broader food and FMCG sector.

Key responsibilities
Identify and pursue recent business opportunities.
Prospect for new customers and generate sales leads.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects.
Identify key decision-makers and establish new commercial relationships.
Conduct customer visits and face-to-face sales meetings.
Introduce and promote the Odessa Oils product range.
Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
Prepare and follow up quotes, proposals and sales opportunities.
Negotiate pricing and commercial arrangements within company guidelines.
Convert prospects into ongoing customer accounts.

About you




2+ years' experience in B2B sales, business development or a similar role.
Proven experience in prospecting and winning new customers.
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Confidence communicating with business owners, buyers, procurement teams and senior decision-makers.
A proactive, commercially minded and results-focused approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisation and follow-up skills.
Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
A current Australian driver's license and explicit driving record.
