Journey Early Learning Nightcliff is looking for a passionate Certificate III or Diploma-qualified Educator to join our Nursery team.
You’ll help create a calm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, secure and supported to learn and grow. Working alongside a supportive team, you’ll build meaningful relationships with children and families while providing responsive, individualised care.
Permanent Position | Nursery Room | Monday to Friday
About The Role
As a Nursery Educator, you’ll:
Create nurturing, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
Support each child’s individual routines, development and wellbeing
Build secure and meaningful relationships with babies and their families
Contribute to observations, planning and documentation
Work closely with your Lead Educator and wider team
Create a calm, protected and engaging Nursery environment
Support children as they explore, develop and reach important early milestones
About You
We’re looking for a warm, caring and reliable educator who genuinely enjoys working with babies and supporting their early development.
You’ll Bring
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Previous Nursery or baby-room experience highly regarded
A strong understanding of responsive care and play-based learning
A nurturing and relationship-focused approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
Current Working with Children Clearance
Completed National Child Safety Training
