About the role

Our client is an Australian business looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team on a part time basis to support the payroll manager. The role is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the payroll function including month payroll reconciliations. This is a permanent part time opportunity with flexibility on days/hours between two-four days per work.

Job Details

Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for:
End to end fortnighly payroll for approx 300 employees across multiple entities
Assist with reconciliations and payments for
superannuation, payroll tax and workers compensation
Review timesheets and ensure data entry accuracy
Set-up current employees in the system and process termination payments




Payment of ad-hoc back pays and leave entitlement cash-ins

Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have:
4+ years’ experience in an end to end payroll position
Ideally have worked in a small to medium size business and had exposure to GL reconciliations
Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to consider diverging priorities
Great communication and customer skills
