Casual Front-of-House Staff – Mai Gai Restaurant, Brisbane

Mai Gai Restaurant is looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic front-of-house staff to join our team on a casual basis. You’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver excellent service to our guests.

Your responsibilities
Welcome guests, manage bookings and seat customers.
Take food and drink orders accurately using our POS system.
Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally.
Explain menu items and communicate dietary requirements and allergies clearly to the kitchen.
Prepare and serve drinks within your training and experience.
Process payments and handle cash accurately.
Set up, clear and clean tables, and maintain tidy service areas.
Complete opening and closing duties.
Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to keep service running smoothly.
Respond politely to customer enquiries and refer concerns to the supervisor.

Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail.
Confidence working in a busy restaurant.
Availability for evening, weekend and public holiday shifts.
Previous hospitality experience preferred.
Valid Australian work rights.
