Disability Support Worker - Casual | NSW SIL

We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for casual shift opportunities across Goonellabah, Myocum, Lismore, Banora Point, Tweed Heads South and Ocean Shores.

About the Role:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to participants living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.

Your responsibilities will include
Assisting participants with personal care and daily living activities
Medication administration
Manual handling and mobility assistance
Domestic assistance and meal preparation
Supporting participants with behaviours of concern in line with Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)
Encouraging participation in community, social, and recreational activities
Providing support in both one-on-one and shared living settings
Transporting participants using either a company vehicle or your own registered and comprehensively insured vehicle.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Must hold a Certificate III / IV in Individual Support (Disability, Ageing,



or equivalent)
Current Driver's Licence
Reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle
Current Blue Card
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current National Police Check
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You
Full Australian working rights
A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently
Previous experience working in Supported Independent Living (SIL), community disability support, or complex care is highly desirable.
