A fast scaling, founder led payments business is looking for a Portfolio Risk Manager to take ownership of risk across its customer payment plan book as it continues to grow across multiple international markets.

The business offers consumers a responsible, versatile way to pay, backed by strong investor support, an expanding merchant partner network and a lean team where your work is visible from day one.

The role
Own risk monitoring and reporting across a multi market instalment portfolio
Track plan completion, cancellation, arrears and deposit coverage trends
Identify emerging risks and recommend changes to approval, limit and deposit settings
Monitor merchant settlement exposure and partner risk
Build and refine collections strategy to protect portfolio performance
Support funding and treasury with portfolio risk reporting and covenant data
Run cohort and vintage analysis to inform product and pricing decisions
Partner with product, operations and leadership on growth versus risk trade offs

About you
3+ years in portfolio risk,



credit risk, collections or payments risk
Background in BNPL, consumer lending, payments or fintech highly regarded
Commercially minded, comfortable building risk frameworks from first principles
Thrives in a rapid paced, scale up workplace with high autonomy
