The Role
Operating coffee roasting and production machinery
Following preset recipes and production processes
Learning the different stages of the roasting process
Entering production data into internal systems and Excel
Moving trolleys and handling coffee beans throughout the production area
Completing repetitive production tasks accurately and consistently
Cleaning equipment and filters
Following all safety, quality and production procedures
Working closely with supervisors and other members of the production team

About you
Is reliable and takes pride in turning up and doing the job properly
Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
Is comfortable working in a repetitive production setting
Enjoys hands-on work and operating machinery
Can follow processes and instructions accurately
Has basic computer skills and is comfortable entering data
Works well within a team
Communicates well and handles workplace issues professionally
Is looking for a long-term permanent opportunity
Is comfortable with manual handling,



including regular movement of approximately 12kg and occasional lifting up to 24kg

Previous experience within food manufacturing, beverage production, machine operation or general production would be highly regarded, however it is not essential. Hours
The standard shift is 12pm to 8pm
Occasional paid overtime, generally around one additional hour
Rare weekend work, approximately once per month
Some flexibility required to assist with other shifts when needed
At least one week’s notice provided for planned shift changes where possible
