/n Hammond Care pastoral care volunteers have an prospect to support the spiritual and emotional needs of elderly clients living in their home./n
/n As a pastoral care volunteer, you’ll be actively involved with a local Christian church, offering comfort, presence, and hope to those who need it most./n
/n Can you offer a listening ear and a prayerful heart to someone longing to be heard?/n
/n You’ll supplement and complement the work of our Hammond Care At Home Pastoral Care Coordinator, and under their direction you may:/n
/n * Support people to meet their spiritual needs/n
/n * Nurture spiritual development/n
/n You’ll find that as a pastoral care volunteer you’ll nurture your own spiritual life./n

Hammond Care is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements /n

/n 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by Hammond Care • /n

/n One hour each week for 6 months or longer. We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time of the week between Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm./n
