About the Organisation

The Role
As a Mechanical Labourer, you will play a key role in the assembly and fit-out of specialised emergency service vehicles. Working across a range of unique projects, you'll enjoy variety in your day-to-day work while developing your technical skills and broadening your experience within a specialist manufacturing environment.

Duties
Assemble and fit out specialized vehicle bodies, components and equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications
Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete mechanical and electrical assembly tasks
Work both independently and as part of a close-knit production team
Maintain a secure, clean and organized work setting

Skills & Experience
Mechanically minded with strong hands-on skills
Experience working on vehicles, caravans, trucks, trailers or similar equipment highly regarded
Background in assembly, auto electrical, air conditioning, fabrication or technical work advantageous

This role would be well suited to someone with a background in auto electrical, vehicle building,



motor mechanics, fitters, or refrigeration mechanics.
