This 9 month fixed term contract ideally commencing early December, which has been created to cover a period of parental leave and would suit someone looking to broaden their HR experience in a hands on environment.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of HR, this role sits between a Coordinator and Advisor level and offers a unique blend of payroll, safety and generalist HR responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing monthly and fortnightly payroll
Managing payroll enquiries and payroll administration
Coordinating health and safety initiatives, workers compensation and return to work processes
Supporting recruitment and onboarding activities
Assisting with employee engagement initiatives and surveys
Acting as the first point of contact for employee queries
Preparing HR documentation, reports and presentations
Supporting learning and development activities and wider HR projects




Assisting with general office coordination and administration
Working within a small HR team, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of people initiatives and continue building your generalist HR capability.
About you
You may be an experienced HR Coordinator ready to step into a broader role, or a junior HR Advisor looking to further develop your generalist skillset.
To be successful, you'll bring:
Previous experience in HR and/or payroll
Payroll processing experience
Exposure to workplace health and safety activities
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive and adaptable approach
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A willingness to get involved across a variety of HR activities
