An established engineering and project delivery team is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the design and execution of a significant mining infrastructure project in Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-value capital project while working alongside experienced engineering, design, and project management professionals.
Responsibilities
Lead and review mechanical engineering design activities
Deliver engineering solutions for bulk materials handling and crushing systems
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers
Support project execution from concept through detailed design and delivery
Liaise with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders
Ensure compliance with applicable standards, safety requirements, and project specifications
About You




Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
Proven experience delivering mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial projects
Solid understanding of bulk materials handling, crushing, conveying, and associated mechanical systems
Experience working within engineering consultancies, EPCM environments, or project delivery teams
Ability to lead packages of work and coordinate across disciplines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
