Senior Civil Designer | Contract Opportunity
We are working with a well-established engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Civil Designer to support a range of major resource and industrial projects.
This role is initially offered on a contract basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
About the role Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering civil design packages across large-scale industrial and resource sector projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Civil design and drafting for bulk earthworks, site development and drainage infrastructure
Preparation of design documentation and construction drawings
Coordination with engineers, designers and project teams
Supporting project delivery from concept through to detailed design
Ensuring designs meet project specifications and industry standards
About you To be successful in the role you will have:
Proven experience as a Civil Designer on mining, heavy industrial,



energy or similar infrastructure projects
Solid experience in bulk earthworks and drainage design
Proficiency with Civil 3D, or strong 12d experience with the ability to transition into Civil 3D
Experience producing detailed design and construction documentation
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to work within a collaborative project environment
