The OpportunityThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and expanding resources business, working within a high-performing finance team and gaining broad exposure across financial reporting, tax, budgeting, forecasting, statutory accounting and technical accounting.The RoleReporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the Group's financial reporting and accounting functions.Key responsibilities will include:Leading and supporting month-end and year-end close processesPreparing accurate financial and management reportsTaking responsibility for tax compliance and reporting requirementsSupporting annual budgeting and forecasting processesPreparing and analysing budgets, forecasts and financial performanceSupporting statutory and ASX reportingAssisting with half-year and full-year reportingPreparing balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysisManaging and supporting external audit processesAssisting with technical accounting matters and Australian Accounting StandardsWorking across a complex multi-entity environmentProviding financial analysis and insights to senior stakeholdersIdentifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reportingContributing to finance projects and other ad hoc commercial initiativesAbout YouWe are looking for a CA/CPA qualified Senior Financial Accountant with solid technical accounting and financial reporting experience.Ideally, you will have:CA/CPA qualification5+ years' relevant accounting experienceExperience within a listed, mining or resources environmentStrong financial reporting and technical accounting knowledgeExperience across tax, budgeting and forecastingExperience with month-end, statutory reporting and external auditStrong understanding of Australian Accounting StandardsExcellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlinesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience with ASX reporting, group consolidations and complex multi-entity environments will be highly regarded.What's on Offer?
