Project Manager - SAP HANA About the client: Our client is a leader in skilled services and consulting, providing a wide range of services including strategy, consulting, technology and systems integration, and operations to a range of clients across Government, Financial Services, Utilities and more.About the role:We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of two SAP transformation initiatives.
The role requires a strong leader with proven experience managing large-scale SAP implementations and business transformation projects across multiple business units and a complex group of stakeholders.The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, including planning, governance, financial management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, vendor coordination.
This role demands strong leadership, communication, and SAP delivery expertise, with a strong understanding of both business processes and enterprise technology landscapes.Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & DeliveryLead complex SAP projects and programs from initiation through to successful deployment and hypercareDevelop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.Ensure project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria are clearly defined and achievedManage project dependencies across business, technology, and third-party vendorsDrive project execution using Agile delivery methodologies.Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and impediments.Collaborate with solution architects, functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between business requirements and SAP solutions.Oversee system integration, data migration, testing, cutover, and deployment activities.Stakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, IT teams,



and external partners.Facilitate steering committee meetings and project reportingTranslate complex technical concepts into business-focused communications.Manage stakeholder expectations and secure agreement on priorities, scope, and outcomes.Governance & Risk ManagementIdentify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security requirements, and regulatory obligations.Provide accurate and timely reporting on project performance, financials, and delivery status.Financial & Resource ManagementManage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.Lead resource planning and allocation across internal and external teams.Drive operational transition and handover to support teams.LeadershipInspires and motivates high-performing project teams.Drives accountability and delivery excellence.Influences stakeholders at executive and operational levelsExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.Ability to manage ambiguity and resolve complex issues.
The Successful CandidateBachelor's degree in information technology, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 8-10 years of project management experience delivering enterprise-scale technology programs.Minimum 5 years managing SAP implementation or transformation projects other than S/4HANA transformations.
