This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced planner who enjoys solvingcomplex challenges, working across diverse stakeholders and influencinglong-term investment in community facilities.Undertake community infrastructure planning and needs analysis to informfuture community facility provision.Develop evidence-based business cases and identify innovative solutions forcommunity infrastructure projects.Maintain and analyse data to support strategic planning,



asset management andinvestment decisions.Provide specialist advice on community infrastructure planning acrossCouncil.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders,government agencies, service providers and the community.Coordinate the monitoring and evaluation of community facilities to informrenewal, upgrade and future planning.Supervise and support the Community Infrastructure Planner.Skills & ExperienceDegree or postgraduate qualification in Strategic Planning, Social Sciencesor a related discipline, or extensive experience in community infrastructureplanning.Demonstrated experience in strategic community infrastructure planning,policy development and needs analysis.Experience developing business cases and delivering complex projects.Solid analytical, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.Knowledge of asset management principles and community infrastructureplanning within a local government environment is highly regarded.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.ResponsibilitiesLead the strategic planning and needs analysis for community infrastructure to inform future facility provision and investment.
Develop evidence-based business cases and coordinate the monitoring and evaluation of community facilities.
