We are seeking an experienced Retail Sales Consultant to join a leading bedding retailer in an ongoing temporary capacity.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys face-to-face customer interaction, is motivated by achieving sales targets, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
We are seeking candidates who can commit to a consistent Thursday to Monday roster, working up to 24 hours per week.
About the Role As a Retail Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for customers while driving sales performance.
Working within a busy retail environment, you will engage with customers to understand their needs, provide expert product recommendations, and guide them through the purchasing journey.




Key Responsibilities Providing exceptional customer service and building rapport with customersIdentifying customer needs and recommending suitable bedding and sleep solutionsAchieving individual and team sales targetsProcessing sales transactions through POS systemsMaintaining attractive product displays and showroom presentationAssisting with stock replenishment and inventory tasksSupporting promotional campaigns and in-store sales initiativesEnsuring a professional and welcoming store environment at all times About You To be successful in this role, you will possess strong retail sales experience and enjoy working in a customer-focused environment.
Key Requirements Proven success in a retail sales role with demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong on-floor sales ability and confidence approaching and engaging customersExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsA consultative sales approach with the ability to identify customer needsExperience working with POS systems and retail technologyStrong presentation and professional mannerAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamPrevious experience within furniture, bedding, homewares, electrical, or other big-ticket retail sales environments will be highly regarded If you are a driven sales qualified who enjoys helping customers find the right solution and has a strong track record in retail sales, we would love to hear from you.
