Job Title: Kitchen HandJob Summary:We are looking for a passionate and versatile Kitchen Hand to join our team in a boutique brand new aged care facility in Sydney, New South Wales.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Chef to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.Skills:- Good communication skills- Ability to work well under pressure- Attention to detail- Basic food preparation knowledge- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practicesResponsibilities:- Assist the Chef with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, making salads, etc.- Ensure that all ingredients are properly stored and labeled in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils after use.
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory management.
-Assist with menu planning as required by chef.Qualifications: - No formal qualifications required but completion of a culinary arts program or an internship is preferred.
