You will carry out both planned and breakdown maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a highly automated food manufacturing facility.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machineryDiagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical faultsTroubleshoot automated manufacturing equipmentCarry out equipment servicing,



repairs and adjustmentsRespond to breakdowns to minimise production downtimeAssist with continuous improvement and maintenance projectsMaintain a safe and compliant working environmentWork closely with production and other maintenance team membersAbout YouWe are open to candidates from either an electrical or mechanical background.You will ideally have:Trade qualification as an Electrician or Mechanical FitterPrevious experience in manufacturing, FMCG or food productionStrong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skillsExperience with preventative and breakdown maintenanceThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA proactive approach to identifying and resolving equipment issuesStrong commitment to safety and qualityElectrical candidates: PLC, sensors, motors, VSDs and automated machinery experience would be advantageous.Mechanical candidates: Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics and production machinery would be highly regarded.
