Business Development Manager – Civil & Infrastructure | SydneyThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business, strengthening existing client relationships and identifying opportunities across civil construction, utilities, infrastructure, councils, government, commercial construction and related industries.
This is a hands‐on, field‐based role focused on building relationships, generating opportunities and growing Dynamic's presence across Sydney and surrounding regions.
The expectation is that the successful candidate will spend the majority of their working day on the road meeting clients, visiting sites, developing relationships and actively creating work opportunities for the business.
Administrative work and internal meetings will be completed from the Penrith office.Key responsibilitiesDevelop new business opportunities across Sydney and surrounding NSW regionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project managers, engineers, supervisors, councils, utilities and infrastructure clientsConduct regular face‐to‐face client meetings and site visitsPromote Dynamic's complete range of services and identify cross‐selling opportunitiesDevelop new accounts while maintaining and growing existing client relationshipsWork closely with operations teams to ensure client requirements are understood and deliveredFollow up quotations, tenders,



project opportunities and active leadsMaintain an active pipeline of upcoming works and projectsMonitor construction and infrastructure activity across the regionUtilise industry intelligence platforms, including BCI, to identify upcoming projects and decision‐makersAbout youExcellent communication and relationship‐building skillsConfidence dealing with project managers, supervisors, engineers and senior managementA proactive approach to generating new businessStrong follow‐up and organisational skillsCommercial awareness and the ability to identify genuine opportunitiesThe ability to work independently and manage your own territoryA strong understanding of the Sydney construction and infrastructure marketExperience within one or more of the following sectors: civil construction, utilities, infrastructure, hydro excavation, plumbing or drainage, construction services, waste or environmental services, equipment hire, transport, or government or council contractingAbout usDynamic Hydro Excavations is one of Australia's largest privately owned hydro excavation, civil and infrastructure service providers, with a growing national footprint across Queensland and Recent South Wales.
