Why You'll Love This Opportunity:
This is more than a customer service role — it's a genuine step-up opportunity.
Reporting to the National Customer Service Manager, you'll initially focus on learning our customers, systems and national depot network while playing a senior role in coordinating the team's day-to-day workflow.
As your knowledge grows, you'll take on greater responsibility for coordinating the Brisbane-based team and supporting consistent service across our wider network, with a clear pathway to Team Leader and longer-term potential toward Customer Service Manager.
This is customer service in a fast-moving operational environment, not a call centre.
You'll work closely with customers, depots, Business Development Managers and Key Account Managers to resolve issues, obtain accurate information and keep freight moving.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate daily customer service workflow and prioritise time-sensitive requirements
Manage customer orders, freight bookings, jobs and delivery requests
Liaise with depots and operational teams to resolve issues and ensure customer requirements are met
Build robust relationships with customers, BDMs, KAMs and key depot contacts
Support and guide team members, including remote teams
Identify opportunities to improve processes,



systems and the customer experience
Develop the operational and leadership skills required to progress into Team Leader
What You Bring:
Strong customer service experience in a busy, high-volume environment, ideally transport, logistics or warehousing
The maturity, confidence and ambition to step into a senior role and develop into people leadership
Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills
Excellent planning, prioritisation and time-management skills
Confidence working across business systems; transport or ticketing system experience is advantageous
A proactive, flexible approach and genuine focus on customer service
A willingness to learn and understand a complex national transport network
