The Role
Reporting directly to management, this is a hands-on and diverse role encompassing accounts receivable, collections, banking reconciliations and general administration.
Working within a busy international freight environment, the business is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented professional who is looking for long-term stability and thrives in a collaborative, close-knit team.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Raising and issuing invoices to clients accurately and in a timely manner
Managing the collections process - following up on outstanding accounts via phone and email
Processing daily banking transactions and completing bank reconciliations
Allocating receipts and maintaining accurate debtor records
Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve account queries and disputes
Providing general administrative support to the operations and finance teams




Data entry and maintenance of records within freight forwarding software systems
Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting as required
Coordinating documentation and correspondence related to freight shipments
The Person
Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable, collections and/or banking reconciliations
Experience within freight forwarding, logistics or a similar industry (advantageous)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Confident and professional communicator - comfortable following up on overdue accounts
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
A positive, reliable team player committed to the role long-term
Exposure to freight forwarding or logistics software (advantageous)
