Job DescriptionAbout the role: St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to lead specialist engagement, doctor recruitment and strategic growth initiatives across one of Queensland's most respected private hospitals.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned relationship-builder who thrives in complex stakeholder environments and can confidently engage with specialists, practice managers, GPs and senior health leaders.
Reporting to the Hospital General Manager/Director of Clinical Services, you will play a critical role in growth key specialty services, strengthening referral pathways and supporting the recruitment and retention of Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs).

recruit and onboard new specialists to support service growth.Analyse market opportunities, referral patterns and business performance data to identity growth opportunitiesContribute to the development of business cases and strategic growth initiatives that deliver measurable outcomesLead doctor engagement activities, education events, and referral development programsPartner with hospital leadership and marketing teams to execute business development and marketing strategiesMaintain a strong pipeline of opportunities through CRM and business intelligence reportingAbout youYou are an experienced commercial professional with a proven ability to build credibility in specialist healthcare environments.
You will ideally bring:Significant experience in healthcare business development, clinical network development, healthcare sales or hospital engagement.A demonstrated track record of influencing and building relationships with specialists, surgeons, physicians and referrers.Solid communication acumen with experience developing business cases and growth strategies.
