The ideal candidate will have a dual passion for sport and social media, with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of platforms and emerging digital trends.Your main duties & responsibilities:Execute real-time and planned social media output across a variety of sports and clients,



both during and outside of live eventsChannel and community managementBriefing video and design teamsContent planning and creationDevelop and deliver long and short-term social media campaigns and initiativesProduce short-form and longer social-first video editsResearching and reporting for internal and external requirementsOtherwise we lose interest quickly!
Content ideation and brainstormingThe ideal background and skills we are looking for include:Minimum 12 months' experience in channel management and social coverage of live eventsExperience working on digital content for sporting federations or media organisation is preferableExcellent written and verbal English skillsFirst-class editorial judgementExperience of using Adobe Photoshop, video clipping tools and Premiere ProKnowledge, understanding and experience of multiple social media platformsMobile device content-creation skillsIn-depth knowledge of multiple sports, in particular rugby union, soccer, NBA and NFLDetailed understanding of the digital and social media landscape, in particular how platforms are used to achieve business objectivesExperience with the following would also be beneficial:Must be able to work weekends, as well as evenings, and be versatile about working patternsAbility to come up with original content ideas and spot developing trends and opportunitiesUnderstanding and awareness of social media analytics, especially in helping to guide content strategyAdobe After Effects skillsMobile content capture skills
