you will sit in the corporate head office and report to an energizing and talented Financial Controller who has a great track record of developing and mentoring her team.
You will be trained up to take on duties that will include (not limited to):Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reportsSupporting annual financial statements, tax returns and other compliance requirementsMaintaining and updating financial modelsContributing to project budgeting and forecastingCompleting balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing portfolio transactionsManaging limited AP and AR requirements relating to your assetsPartnering with internal stakeholders and contributing to finance projects and process improvementsAs you continue to grow and become more confident, you will be given more responsibilities and learning opportunities.Your BackgroundTo be considered for this Financial Accountant opportunity, our client is looking for a talented individual with the following experience:Three or more years of accounting experience gained in commerce, audit, tax or business servicesAn accounting degree with a solid academic recordCA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or significant progress toward completionThe technical capability and ambition to take ownership of an asset portfolioPermanent Australian working rightsStrong written and verbal communication skills
