The successful candidate will manage a range of commercial and telecommunications property matters, including lease negotiations, approvals, stakeholder consultation and strategic project programs.The roleYou will be responsible for:Managing negotiations for commercial leases, including rental terms, conditions and associated approvalsManaging telecommunications lease and property matters from negotiation through to approvalPreparing formal reports, recommendations and supporting documentation for consideration and approvalCoordinating community consultation and engagement where requiredDeveloping, implementing and monitoring strategic property and special project delivery programsPreparing and monitoring operating plans and project budgetsProviding strategic advice on issues affecting project deliveryWorking closely with senior Property Services stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within required timeframesReviewing programs and processes to ensure value for money, compliance and best practiceManaging contractors and ensuring appropriate qualifications, licences and standards are maintainedMaintaining accurate project,



property and lease information within organisational systemsReviewing relevant policies and procedures and identifying opportunities for improvementProviding regular project, progress and status reporting to senior stakeholdersManaging emerging issues and providing practical recommendations and solutionsAbout youTo be successful, you will ideally bring:Qualifications in project management, project coordination, property or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience managing property or project activities within local government, the broader public sector or a large multidisciplinary organisationStrong experience in commercial lease negotiations, including rental terms and conditionsWell-developed negotiation, mediation and conflict-resolution skillsStrong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work with senior executives, consultants, contractors, government stakeholders and the communityExperience preparing high-quality reports, briefs, recommendations and approval documentationDemonstrated experience managing budgets, project programs, risks and competing prioritiesSound understanding of governance, compliance and relevant legislative requirementsKnowledge of government procurement and works delivery will be highly regardedExperience with telecommunications property, site acquisition, telecommunications leases or licence agreements will be highly regardedThis position would particularly suit an experienced Property Manager, Leasing Manager, Transaction Manager, Property Project Manager or Telecommunications Site Acquisition/Property professional looking to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of strategic property matters.The offer$91 per hour + superFull-time contract 12 month opportunityWestern Sydney locationSenior-level property and project responsibilityExposure to complex commercial and telecommunications property mattersIf you have strong commercial property leasing and negotiation experience and are confident managing projects through stakeholder engagement, approvals and delivery, we would like to hear from you.
