Project Manager – TMR Civil Infrastructure | Northern Queensland | Major ProjectsLead the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects across Northern Queensland.Symal Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Project Manager with solid TMR experience to join our growing team in Northern Queensland.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced civil Project Manager based in Townsville, Cairns or surrounding areas to take a key role in delivering significant transport and infrastructure projects across the region.We are looking for someone who understands the requirements of working on Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects and has a proven track record delivering civil infrastructure projects from approximately $***** million through to major projects valued at $200 million+.

About the RoleReporting to the senior project leadership team, you will take ownership of the successful delivery of major civil infrastructure projects, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.You will be responsible for:Leading the end-to-end delivery of major TMR and civil infrastructure projectsManaging project budgets, programs, resources and commercial outcomesLeading multidisciplinary project teams across engineering, construction, commercial and site operationsManaging client relationships and key project stakeholdersWorking closely with TMR and other government stakeholders to ensure project requirements are metManaging project risks, variations, claims and contractual obligationsDriving productivity, performance and continuous improvement across the projectEnsuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standardsLeading and mentoring Project Engineers, Site Engineers,



Supervisors and broader project teamsManaging subcontractors, suppliers and consultantsEnsuring compliance with safety, environmental, quality and project management systemsAbout YouWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager who has successfully delivered TMR projects and understands the standards, processes and expectations associated with major government infrastructure projects.
Who is based in Northern QLD ideally Townsville or surrounding towns 150 Kilometres north or South.You will ideally have:Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering TMR projects in QueenslandExperience delivering civil infrastructure projects valued at $50 million+Experience managing projects in the $***** million range, with exposure to projects up to $200 million+ highly regardedStrong understanding of TMR specifications, processes, contractual requirements and project delivery expectationsA strong background across major civil infrastructure, including roads, bridges, earthworks and associated infrastructureDemonstrated commercial acumen, including responsibility for budgets, variations, claims, forecasting and project controlsStrong leadership skills with the ability to lead large multidisciplinary project teamsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsA strong focus on safety, quality,
