The Role:
Millennium is looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaning Team Leader to join our team at one of our major retail sites.
If you take pride in your work, have a great eye for detail, and enjoy creating clean, protected, and welcoming environments, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines cleaning responsibilities with team supervision and operational coordination.
You will play a key role in ensuring cleaning standards are maintained while supporting and leading a large site-based cleaning team.
Pay
As per the Cleaning Services Award rate, plus applicable allowances.
Roster
Monday: 6:30 AM - 3:06 PM
Thursday: 1:30 PM - 9:06 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:36 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:06 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM - 4:36 PM
Key Responsibilities




Lead, supervise, and support the cleaning team
Allocate staff and daily cleaning tasks
Monitor cleaning standards and productivity
Assist with rostering and staff coverage
Supervise and support up to 34 cleaners across the site, depending on operational requirements and shift allocation
Liaise with clients regarding operational requirements
Respond to issues and changing site requirements
Complete administrative tasks and manage emails
Maintain stock control, ordering, and stocktakes
Coordinate deliveries and site requirements
Undertake hands-on cleaning duties as required
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard
What We're Looking For
Previous cleaning and team leadership experience
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to lead by example and work hands-on with the team
Confidence in supervising a large workforce and managing day-to-day operations
