Specialist Plant Operator
to join ourdynamic Construction Team.

About the role:
You'll be hands-on across awide range of civil assets, including:
Roads, footpaths, drainage, carparks, foreshore assets, andwaste facilities
Routine construction, reconstruction, and maintenanceactivities
You'll also:
Primarily operate prime movers and six wheel trucks
Operate a variety of plant and equipment depending onexperience and operational needs (e.g. graders, loaders,rollers, chainsaws, commercial vehicles)
Perform daily checks, cleaning,



and secure storage ofequipment
Assist with planning, resource organisation, and teamtraining
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safetyand operational procedures
What you'll bring to the role:
The ideal candidate will align with the City'sValues and be able to demonstrate the belowcompetencies:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of civil construction and plantoperation
Sound working knowledge of lifting equipment includingslings, chains and wire ropes.
HC Class Driver's Licence
Basic Traffic Management and Traffic Controlcertification
Good communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, safety-first attitude
Pre-employment requirements:
National Police Clearance (less than six months old)
Proof of right to work in Australia
Pre-employment medical (arranged and paid for by theCity)
