About the roleSwift Transport Services is seeking a Casual Warehouse Assistant to work alongside our Warehouse Manager and our dynamic team at our Dandenong South facility.
This is a casual position contributing to the smooth operation of our warehouse operations.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our logistics and distribution activities, ensuring that goods are handled efficiently and safely.What you'll be doingReceiving, checking and recording incoming goods and materials into the warehouse systemPacking and preparing orders for dispatch to customers with accuracy and careOperating warehouse equipment e.g forklifts and pallet jacks safely and competentlyOrganising and maintaining stock in designated warehouse areas to optimise space and accessibilityConducting regular stock checks and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracyLoading and unloading delivery vehicles with efficiency and attention to safety protocolsMaintaining a clean,



organised and safe warehouse environment in compliance with workplace health and safety standardsWhat we're looking forProven experience working in a warehouse or distribution environmentValid forklift & high reach forklift licencePhysical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly throughout your shiftAttention to detail with solid organisational skillsBasic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageousStrong commitment to workplace health and safety standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual and flexible approach to casual work arrangementsCartonCloud experience advantageousImmediate start preferred!
