This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a professional hotel environment while building a long-term career in hospitality.About the RoleAs a Public Area Attendant, you will play an important role in creating a positive first impression for hotel guests.
You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public spaces throughout the hotel, ensuring all areas meet Silk Hospitality's high standards.
This role requires a strong eye for detail, a proactive approach, and a commitment to delivering excellent service every day.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain hotel public areas including lobbies, corridors, lifts, entrances, restrooms and guest amenitiesEnsure all public spaces are presented to the highest cleanliness standardsRespond promptly and professionally to guest and housekeeping requestsComplete scheduled deep cleaning and project cleaning tasksAssist with stock control and replenishment of cleaning suppliesReport maintenance issues, hazards,



and lost propertyMove furniture and equipment as requiredWork collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure a seamless guest experienceWhat We're Looking ForPrevious housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience preferredAvailability to work a minimum of 3 days per week across the following shifts: Mon to Fri: 9am - 3.30pm; Thu to Sat: 4.30pm - 9pmStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessPositive attitude and professional presentationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasksAble to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentReliable, punctual, and motivatedAustralia Working RightsWhy Join Silk Hospitality?
