Join an established engineering consultancy delivering power and automation solutions across utilities, infrastructure and heavy industry.
You'll take projects from concept through commissioning, combining complex design work with practical site involvement and the opportunity to lead and mentor engineers.
Responsibilities
Develop electrical designs, drawings, specifications and technical reports that support safe, reliable and effective power systems.
Conduct investigations, studies and detailed power system analysis across industrial, mining and utility projects.
Manage project schedules and budgets, lead small teams and collaborate directly with clients.
Support site data collection, equipment configuration, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning.
Contribute to proposals and quotations, while coaching and mentoring junior engineers.
Experience
Essential
A degree in Electrical Engineering and extensive experience in industrial power systems.
Strong experience preparing design documentation, specifications, scopes of work and technical reports.
The ability to manage small project teams and communicate confidently with clients, suppliers, contractors and other engineering disciplines.
RPEQ registration, or currently working towards it.




Permanent working rights in Australia.
Desirable
Five or more years of power system analysis and design experience.
Strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
Significant experience using PTW and/or ETAP.
Experience designing industrial HV networks, protection systems, earthing and lightning protection.
Experience across heavy industries.
Salary
140,*******,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location
Brisbane, Queensland — fully on site.
Your work will combine office-based engineering and design with hands‐on involvement at project sites.
