Our client is a long-established, family-owned agribusiness with an international presence across fertiliser production, trading and distribution.
Their Mackay site is a bulk depot with an annual throughput of 30,******,000 tonnes.
They are now seeking an Operations Manager to take full accountability for the site.
The Role Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be the accountable person on site, responsible for safety, people and day-to-day operations.
This is a hands-on role.
You will be expected to jump on the loader or forklift during peak periods, cover any job on site when needed,



and lead your team by working alongside them.
Key responsibilities include: Planning and coordinating the receival, storage and dispatch of bulk fertiliser products safely and on time Leading WHS on site and maintaining a strong safety culture Coaching and developing the site team, including regular performance feedback Scheduling plant and equipment maintenance to minimise downtime Managing site records, compliance and Chain of Responsibility obligations Working with sales, customer service, transport contractors and shipping to keep product moving and customers informed Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives Manage the P
