Permanent, Part Time, (0.6 EFT, 24 hours per week) About the Role The Practice Development Nurse – Specialist is responsible for supporting the professional development of all permanent and program staff across our clinical settings.
Their primary role is to ensure best practice by providing ongoing education and support for all staff with particular focus on the advancement of knowledge, skills and training with relevance to the clinical setting.
This will be achieved by implementing clinically based education using the principles of Evidenced Based Practice to improve the delivery of nursing care.
Furthermore, they will be responsible for their own professional development in order to maintain expert clinical skills and advanced knowledge.




Facilitate the development of nursing staff through targeted education programs and clinical support, including graduate, postgraduate, and transition to specialty practice pathways.
Work closely with NUMs, E integrating feedback, research, and digital tools to enhance program outcomes.
Promote reflective practice, maintain clinical competence, and model the values of SVHM—compassion, integrity, justice, and excellence.
Classifications for this position will range from RN35 ($122,****** per annum, pro rata).
