Location: Sydney, Australia Experience: 6–8 Years Work Rights: Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents (PR) only Sponsorship: Not available Role Overview The HR Ally is seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Functional Consultant specialising in Recruiting Management (RCM) and Onboarding 2.0.
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end implementations, system configuration, integrations, testing, deployment, and ongoing support, ensuring solutions align with Australian HR processes and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of SuccessFactors Recruiting Management and Onboarding 2.0.
Conduct discovery workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into functional solutions.
Configure job requisitions, applications, candidate profiles, offers, applicant statuses, Recruiting Posting, and position management integrations.
Design and configure onboarding workflows, activities, forms, business rules, and data collection.
Manage integrations across Recruiting, Onboarding, Employee Central, and third-party HR systems.
Configure onboarding documentation, electronic signatures, and compliance processes aligned with Australian employment requirements.
Support integrations with payroll, background screening, identity management, document management, and other HR platforms.
Work with OData APIs, REST/SOAP services, Compound Employee API, Intelligent Services, and Integration Center.
Troubleshoot data mapping, employee creation, post-hire synchronisation, and integration issues.
Develop and maintain Ad Hoc and Story Reports.
Manage testing, deployment, go-live, hypercare, and ongoing production support.
Provide best-practice guidance and support SuccessFactors biannual releases and system enhancements.




Must-Have Skills Experience 6–8 years of relevant experience, with strong hands-on expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding.
Minimum 2 end-to-end implementations across Recruiting and Onboarding.
SuccessFactors Recruiting certification; Onboarding 2.0 certification preferred.
Robust expertise in RCM configuration, including job requisitions, applications, candidate profiles, offers, applicant statuses, Recruiting Posting, and job board integrations.
Hands-on experience with RCM Data Model customisation, Employee Central integration, Ad Hoc reporting, and Story Reports.
Extensive experience with Onboarding 2.0 configuration, including workflows, forms, activities, business rules, and data collection.
Experience designing onboarding solutions across multiple business units, legal entities, and employee populations.
Strong understanding of integrations using OData APIs, REST/SOAP, Compound Employee API, Intelligent Services, and Integration Center.
Experience integrating SuccessFactors with third-party HR, payroll, background screening, and identity management systems.
Knowledge of Australian onboarding processes, employment documentation, and relevant compliance requirements.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Good-to-Have Skills SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 certification.
Experience or certification in additional SuccessFactors modules.
Experience conducting customer discovery workshops and defining current-state and future-state processes.
Experience supporting global SuccessFactors implementations with Australian operations.
