About the Role Based out of our Mt Thorley Depot, as the current Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of day-to-day maintenance operations, key responsibilities will include: Manage and promote a proactive and engaged safety culture Ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained to deliver for our clients Providing focused and effective leadership to the workforce Working closely with the Branch Manager to effectively control work schedule Oversee Planning and execution of repair schedules Manage and coordinate team's activities by setting performance objectives and allocating appropriate resources Ensure comprehensive records are established and maintained to assist decision making Develop and implement strategies to provide increases in safety and efficiency Drive a high performance culture This role follows is a 5/2 Day Shift roster.
About you To be successful in this role you will require the following experience and qualifications: Trade Certificate and or Engineering Degree or equivalent qualifications A minimum of five plus years' experience in a similar leadership role Familiarity with maintenance management systems, JDE experience is advantageous Accounting and budgeting skills, including the ability to monitor costs in line with budget requirements Experience with maintenance planning, contract management and asset management Effective communication and people management Experience leading and developing teams and strategy Excellent communication skills What's on offer Thiess' commitment to ongoing training
