Systems Engineer | Requirements & Architecture
Support a major government capability program as a Systems Engineer, delivering requirements analysis, engineering documentation, architecture and acquisition preparation across complex cloud and hybrid-hosted environments.
Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Duration: 220 days
Security Clearance Requirement: Negative Vetting 1 (NV1)
Essential Tasks
Conduct system and subsystem requirements analysis, decomposition and traceability.
Develop system specifications, engineering artefacts, architecture descriptions and interface specifications.
Support systems engineering, design assessments, technical reviews and acquisition preparation activities.
Develop technical procurement and engineering documentation, including requirements, system designs and detailed designs.




Key Criteria
Strong systems engineering experience with requirements management and engineering documentation.
Demonstrated requirements analysis and design experience in cloud or hybrid-hosted environments.
Experience with systems engineering, test and evaluation processes, architecture and interoperability standards.
Robust analytical, stakeholder engagement and technical writing capability; DOORS, DNG or MBSE experience is desirable.
Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) clearance.
