Your opportunity: The Staff Specialist (Geriatrician) position has been established to provide senior clinical leadership and specialist geriatric medicine services at the Bundaberg Hospital.
The role is pivotal in leading contemporary models of care for frail older persons across acute, subacute, ambulatory, community and virtual settings.
Opportunity for Private Practice: The successful candidate may have the opportunity to establish private practice outside of their WBHHS appointment with local private hospitals.
The successful candidate may receive assistance and concessions with: Use of the local private hospital's sessional rooms to allow establishment of practice and referral pathways Assistance with credentialling and administrative support to commence private practice Introduction to local GP's, physicians and surgeons to facilitate referral pathways.
