Medi7 St Kilda Road is seeking an experienced and people-focused Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of an established General Practice in Melbourne's inner south-east.
Part of the Better Medical group, Medi7 St Kilda Road has been caring for the local community for more than 20 years.
The fully AGPAL-accredited practice is home to eight GPs and an experienced team of nurses and reception staff, providing a supportive environment focused on high-quality, patient-centred care.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of practice operations, develop people and contribute to the continued success of an established medical practice.
About the role
As Practice Manager, you will be the key operational contact for clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring the practice runs efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on patient experience, team culture and business performance.
You will be responsible for:
Leading, coaching and supporting reception, nursing and administration teams
Leading by example and contributing to the reception roster, including patient bookings, front-of-house enquiries and daily clinic flow
Coordinating team members and resources to support smooth daily operations
Working closely with GPs and key stakeholders to implement best practice




Acting as the escalation point for complex issues and identifying practical solutions
Managing rostering, resourcing, accreditation, service delivery and operational requirements
Supporting financial and business performance, including budgeting and monitoring clinic outcomes
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and patient experience
Building a positive, team-oriented and accountable team culture
You will also have the opportunity to connect with Practice Managers across the wider Better Medical network, share knowledge and contribute to broader business objectives.
About you
This role would suit an experienced Practice Manager, Senior Medical Receptionist or emerging leader who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Experience with Best Practice, HotDoc and PRODA will be highly regarded.
