- Tertiaryqualification in town planning or closely related discipline

/n

- Ademonstrated working knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, including extensive experience in assessment,processing andreporting of a wide variety of development proposals

/n

- Abilityto work independently and as part of a team

/n

- Highlydeveloped oral and written communication skills with the ability to liaisewith all levels of internal and external customers

/n

- Abilityto provide innovative and practical solutions to resolve complex issues

/n

- Highlevel time management, communication, negotiation and dispute resolutionskills and a demonstrated ability to make decisions

/n

- Abilityto represent Council in legal cases

/n

- Experiencein urban release area / growth area development assessment

/n

- Experiencein presentations to internal and external stakeholders (for example,regional and local planning panels)

/n
