Pavoni Plus Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team across the a’Mare Italian Dining Precinct at Crown Sydney, home to a’Mare , Vista’Mare , and Pizza’Mare .

/n

Working alongside the Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, leading and developing a high-performing team, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across one of Sydney’s premier Italian dining destinations.

/n

Essential Requirements

/n

Full Australian working rights

/n

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role within premium hospitality

/n

Strong leadership and team development skills

/n

Current NSW RSA Certificate

/n

Fluent English with excellent communication skills

/n

Exceptional grooming and presentation

/n

Ability to remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced environment

/n

Strong organisational and time management skills

/n

Experience with POS systems and restaurant reservations

/n

Sound understanding of hospitality compliance and workplace health and safety

/n

Preferred Requirements

/n

Previous experience in premium or fine dining restaurants

/n

Experience with Seven Rooms or similar reservation platforms

/n

Knowledge of Italian food, wine and hospitality

/n

Italian language skills (advantageous)

/n

Formal hospitality qualifications





/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

Support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant

/n

Lead, mentor and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service

/n

Ensure service standards are consistently maintained across all shifts

/n

Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management

/n

Manage guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally and efficiently

/n

Assist with rostering, labour management and payroll accuracy

/n

Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control

/n

Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service

/n

Assist in achieving financial targets through effective labour, wage and cost control

/n

Maintain compliance with Crown Sydney, food safety, RSA and workplace health and safety requirements

/n

Foster a positive team culture focused on professionalism, accountability and genuine hospitality

/n
