We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team on a permanent, full time basis.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, cook and present high-quality breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes.

Develop and improve menus, including seasonal specials.

Oversee daily food preparation and kitchen operations.

Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation and portion control.

Monitor stock levels, manage ordering and minimise food wastage.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.

Assist with food costing and kitchen budget management.

Coordinate kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Train, guide and supervise kitchen staff as required.

Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position,



applicants must demonstrate:

AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent relevant qualification.

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working as a Chef in a professional commercial kitchen.

Experience in a busy café or restaurant environment.

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation and kitchen management.

Sound understanding of Australian food safety and hygiene requirements.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
